firstly, in a mixer jar take 1 cup rava, ¾ cup poha and ½ cup coconut.

also add 4 dried red chilli, ½ tbsp cumin, 1 tbsp coriander seeds, ¼ tsp methi, 1 tsp jaggery and small piece tamarind.

add ¼ cup curd, ½ tsp salt and 1 cup water.

grind to smooth batter adding water as required.

transfer the batter to a large bowl and add water as required.

mix well adjusting consistency. rest the batter for 10 minutes.

now add ½ tsp eno and mix gently.

once the batter turns frothy, immediately pour over the hot tawa.

keep the flame on medium and cook until the top of appam is cooked completely.

finally, enjoy instant masala rava appam with coconut chutney.
