First of all, heat oil in a big pan, add cumin seeds and fry till the aroma comes out.
Further add onion, green chilli and ginger-garlic paste.
Fry the onion well until it turns light golden brown.
Now add tomatoes and fry until they become soft and mushy.
Also, add ½ tsp red chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp garam masala powder and salt as per taste.
Fry the spices on low flame for one minute.
Also, add crumbled paneer/cottage cheese and mix gently.
Mix the cheese gently without mashing it.
Cover and cook on low flame for 3 minutes until the paneer is cooked well. Do not overcook the paneer, as they become hard and chewy.
Also add crushed Kasuri fenugreek and green coriander to it.
Mix gently, making sure everything is well combined.
